Nicole–Tonight I read through what I think is every page on your blog. I am blown away. I remember first meeting you, when you casually mentioned that you and Brian had lived and worked at a tropical resort. I have always wanted to know the details, and reading what you’ve written so far only leaves me wanting more!
Regarding those agents–definitely don’t give up. The happy-ending prereq is so simplistic. Just from what I’ve read here I gather your adventure has given you breathtaking memories, fantastic material to write about (good, bad, and ugly–that’s what makes it interesting), a current goal in which Brian supports you, and an ever-richer appreciation for Brian and what you were able to tackle together. Sounds like a satisfying ending to me! I don’t know what happened to your resort, but whatever it was, I really want to hear about it, start to finish. Keep writing, and keep tackling those agents!
with great admiration,
Jenn K.
P.S. It just melts me that the monkey knew you were going to be a mama!
Jenn, I can’t think of a more lovely way I could have started my day than reading your words above. I am going to re-read them whenever I’m in need encouragement. You are a gift! Thank you so much.
